Paul and Pilar O’Prey Scholarship

Roehampton’s former Vice-Chancellor, Professor Paul O'Prey, retired on May 1st 2019 after fifteen years of dedicated service. During that time, he presided over the establishment of Roehampton from four separate Colleges to the vibrant, inclusive university it is today.

This full fee waiver scholarship has been established in his name to benefit a cohort of 4 students joining Roehampton in September 2020 and 2021, prioritised for students from groups often under-represented in Higher Education. By supporting this fund you will be helping to change the lives of four students. As Professor O’Prey says in his own words: “Our hope for the scholarship is that we will have four scholars—one per college—and that these scholars will be known as people who make a positive difference to everyone else’s experience of the University.”

We are delighted that thanks to the generosity of our College Providing Bodies, alumni and friends of the University, this fund is off to a great start and we have raised £64,500 as of September 2019.
